Hydrise Group gets Rs 50-cr funding, to set up an ethanol plant in Madhya Pradesh
On a recent visit to London, Anuj Kumar Agarwal, promoter of Hydrise Group and Trade Commissioner of Tanzania, got funding of Rs 50 crore from Athena Capitals to set up an ethanol plant in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh. Already in its final stages, the ethanol plant is expected to start production in the year 2023.
On the occasion, Agarwal said, “This would benefit farmers and fast-track the programme of ethanol blending with petrol to reduce dependency on oil imports. This will also generate employment opportunities for thousands of people.”
